Lucky Ramen

I wanted the scene to feel alive so I played alot with pulsing lights and vfx.

I also added wind and rain effects to find the right mood.

I started building the scene around the lucky cat and ramen bowl.

I split the cat into two parts and animated the arm in Maya.

I made a broth material in Substance designer and blended it with the other food assets in Unreal. Then I made a steam vfx in Niagara.

A few of my assets and their wireframes.

A small scene that I made for our 3 week advanced game art course at Futuregames

Jonathan Stanford
3D artist

I’m a Stockholm based (and raised) half American with a passion for XR and games. I see myself as a generalist in 3D, but what I like to do the most are props and hard surfaces. But I always aspire to expand my knowledge in all aspects of the job and keep learning.  Feel free to contact me below.
